Febuary 26,1993 when there was explosives in a van in the garage of the world trade center that was meant to have enough of an effect to make the north tower tip over on to the south tower.
What/How?
The hijackers intentionally crashed two planes into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. Both towers collapsed within two hours. Hijackers crashed another jet into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth jet, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after passengers tried to take control before it could reach the hijacker's intended target in Washington, D.C. About 3,000 died in the attacks.

Al-Qaeda and bin Laden cited U.S. support of Israel, the presence of U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia, and sanctions against Iraq as motives for the attacks. The United States responded to the attacks by launching the War on Terror, invading Afghanistan to put away the Taliban, which had harbored al-Qaeda members
Results/Effects?
Results of the 9/11 terriorist attacks are that so many people lost the family members and friends in the attack. Also the constant memoiries of survivors of how many people they saw jump from the top of buildings the people they saw burn that they couldnt help and the smell of burning fleash.
